The CRP governance structure is fairly simple. Each of our fifteen members have three reps and three votes at the General Assembly (GA). The GA considers annual business plans and major project and policy issues.
The GA is, in effect, the "Board of Directors" and meets twice a year. The Executive Committee, made up of one elected representative from each member, guides projects and project teams on a month to month basis on behalf of the GA. A variety of project subcommittees, made up of elected and staff people, helps guide specific projects on behalf of the CRP Executive Committee.
"Calgary Regional Partnership Incorporated" is our official name. We were incorporated as a not-for-profit Company under the Alberta Companies Act on November 16, 2004.

CRP Staff with help from others, are pulling together analysis and discussion papers for the elected sub-committee's and Executive Committee's consideration. At a recent Executive Committee meeting the latest discussion paper was reviewed and accepted most of the recommendations in the paper; but more work is needed regarding the super majority decision-making process. This will be the topic of future CRP Executive Committee Meetings.
