Workplace Conflict Strategies

Learn how to use the six-step issue based problem-solving method to respond to workplace conflicts promptly and constructively. Improve your ability to explore the range of concerns and interests in respectful and non-threatening way, and increase your knowledge of the resources and supports available to employers for resolving workplace conflicts.

By the end of this workshop employers will:

  1. Recognize the value of dealing with workplace conflict promptly and constructively
  2. Gain an understanding of the six steps of the issue-based problem solving method
  3. Identify the benefits of exploring concerns and interests in respectful and non-threatening ways
  4. Know what resources and supports are available to employers for resolving workplace conflicts.
