Crossfield is a quiet place, home to nearly 2,500 people, numerous green spaces, a bustling residential market and a solid industrial sector.

Crossfield is the place to be if you are looking for a small town with plenty of atmosphere. We are a fast growing community situated only 51 km. North of the City of Calgary, and 16 km. North of the City of Airdrie.

Crossfield has two schools, one elementary featuring Kindergarten to grade 5 and a middle/high school featuring grades 6-12. We also have a large modern Community Centre, senior complexes, churches, a library and many businesses as well as a large industrial park that gives many local people the opportunity for employment in the community.

For the recreation person, the Town of Crossfield has a curling rink, an arena, 18-hold golf course, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and a new skateboard board park.

This community thrives on its strong volunteer base, and the commitment and dedication of these volunteers and services group members. These many organizations and service groups offer everyone plenty of opportunities to volunteer and participate in many worthwhile community endeavors.

Crossfield is also extremely proud of our large and thriving industrial area and our new 81 lot residential subdivision, Sunset Ridge. Phase Two of development in this subdivision is in the planning stages.
